Girl With Kaleidoscope Eyes...

It's FINALLY here.

I know I took way too many pictures but I wanted to start everywhere at once. For some reason I could not figure out what to put in this house, I guess I'm still in awe, so a few of the things are repeats from my last setting. I promise to branch out with my next post. Right now I just stare at the rooms hoping something comes to mind.
The Stockholm has taken over the dining room so the Kaleidoscope House is in the living room. There's not as much light and I end up getting our stuff in the background so a move is imminent.

I love this telescope. It's made by the same artist that made the little grey one on the patio of the Stockholm. They were two of the first minis I ever bought. In fact, I love them so much that when they're not in a setting they're on our bookcase.

Thanks to CallSmall for the lamp idea in the recessed area. This is a Lundby lamp flipped but I think it works.

Listening to: (Humming) Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds

The stuff: Couch and table are Bozart, Dining Table and Yellow Rug are Ryan's Room, Seats, cutting board, tray and art are Rement, everything else I'm sure I've mentioned a bunch before because I used the same stuff again this time.

  1. So nice you finally got it! Great first set up! I like the idea of using the re-ment containers as chairs! If you hadn't mentioned the hanging Lundby lamp I never would have spotted it, it fitted in so nicely!
    And the telescope is awesome!

  4. Thanks guys : )

I had really hard time figuring out how to get the pictures better. I have tried everything, even borrowing fiancee's camera, but it's trial and error.

  5. Congrats on your house! Is it everything you wanted? The photography is challenging, isn't it? I think natural light works best, especially for this house.

  6. Thanks Callsmall, I was so glad to finally get it! I am having a total brain lock on what to put in it though. I think it's because I'm trying to do set ups with primary colors to match the walls but most of my furniture is neutrals. Oh well, it took time for me to get the Stockholm right too so we'll see. I keep setting up rooms then taking them down because they just don't look quite right.
